Your sustainable companion
From the moment Stefanie started working on the MADAME KUKLA concept, it was clear to her that she wanted to create products with a clear conscience. They should be sustainable and European. European because Stefanie finds Europe and the European Union really good and sustainable because all other concepts shouldn't stand a chance.
We have been adhering to these points for you and our future together since day 1:
We are 100% European and therefore the materials we use also come from Europe.
Whether fabric, clamps, rubber or packaging - we use materials from Europe. Our largest and most important fabric supplier comes from Italy and only uses cotton from our own cultivation.
Conscious use of resources is our top priority at every production level.
Our largest fabric supplier generates 100% of the electricity it needs for fabric production itself from wind, water and solar energy. We have colorful accessories such as BINDING BELT and BAGs made from fabric leftovers.
All our products are sewn by hand in Europe with lots of love.
For the seamstresses of your garment, this means safe working conditions with fair payment. In our largest manufacturing facility in the near Vienna work is carried out in a social and integrative manner. Mostly women and men with disabilities find employment there. Our smaller Viennese and Graz sewing companies also work socially, sewing our colorful extras such as BINDING BELTS, BAGs, SCRUNCHIES, HEADBANDS or MINIs. Among other things, men and women who are disadvantaged by the labor market are employed there in order to make it easier for them to find permanent employment.
Our wrap dresses are also so sustainable because they enrich you with more than just a piece of clothing.
Whether it's a dress, skirt, waistcoat, top, scarf or cape - a single piece of wrap can replace up to ten other items of clothing in no time at all. Due to the timeless and versatile design, as well as the high-quality and elastic fabric, MADAME KUKLA will accompany you for many years and will optimally adapt to you, your body and your life during this time.
Packed in an environmentally friendly way
Our garments and accessories are processed straight from the fabric roll and then placed in plastic-free packaging for shipping.
As a result, there is no intermediate packaging - which is a big advantage in terms of environmental protection.
Short transport routes for little CO2
We keep transport routes short by purchasing materials and all manufacturing processes in Europe.
The finished products then make their own with Post According to information delivered CO2 neutral, on the way to your home.
A below-average return rate
But a big plus is that due to the flexible size, only very few ordered items of clothing are returned.
As a result, we have a return rate that is record-breakingly low for online retail and we don't have to blame ourselves in terms of CO2.
